    One Week Until Vacation...

    Primal Fuel
    So, next friday hubby and I are headed to St. Maarten for a 2-week vacation. We just started primal living on 12/31/11 and have already lost about 6 pounds (8 pounds for him). We really want to try to "cram" as much primal as we can this next week so we can at least look decent on the beach (vain, I know). We will continue to stay primal about 80/20 while we are there. Does anyone have any tips on how to tweak our diet over the next 7 days.

    Here is a typical day:
    B: 2-3 eggs, bacon or sausage, coffee with coconut milk or heavy cream
    L: Big Ass salad - with chicken, tuna, steak, or salmon. Topped with EVOO and balsamic vinegar. Besides veggies, I usually add a hard-boiled egg and 1/2 avocado.
    D: Meat with veggies
    S: sometimes an apple or orange.

    Fitness: Strength training about 3 days per week.

    SW and BF%: 189.7 @ 33% (chest 41.5 - waist 30.5 - hips 41.5)
    CW and BF%: 182 @ 30.1%
    GW and BF%: 165 @ 18%?? LGN, baby!!

    Drop the fruit completely.

    What are you eating for veggies with dinner? I would stick with leafy greans until your vaca (spinich, kale, etc)

    Usually it's broccoli and carrots. Sometimes I'll have cabbage or spinach. Tonight I'm cooking up sausage and cabbage. I plan on dropping the fruit today Thanks for your help!
