I think I was 30 before I could grow a passable mustache. My beard came in strawberry-blond so I could go days without shaving and nobody would really notice.
Both my older boys (20s) grow great big beards at a moments notice (seemingly), I guess that comes from their Mom.

So it's been a while since I've weighed myself- I don't plan on it until the 22nd (one year paleo) I know I'm likely going to be pleateaued but that's besides the point. Yesterday I had 2 gals walk up and mention that I'm looking good and that they see a difference in me. Could just be the clean shaven face, could be weight change I don't know. Definitely noticed/got excited about something this morning... Stretch marks! Yes I am excited because at very least that means that stuff is shifting in me. I know it's an odd thing to be excited about but damn it it at least shows change!![]()

LOL! Yeah, when you stop puffing out the stretch marks, they really start to show, don't they? *sigh* I've got way too many.
Compliments from the gals are extra special, aren't they?I get a little uneasy when I get overly-frequent or overly-enthusiastic compliments from men, but that's mainly because I'm taken. And I think it psyches my hubby out a bit too.
Enjoy your plateau. Seriously. You take a little break, recharge your batteries, make sure you don't lose ground, and then you're ready for a fresh attack.

Oh... well I've been plateaued since September. But I have got from weighing like a maniac 2-3 times a day to not remembering the last time I weighed in. I also decided to stop ignoring my cravings for sweets and I've been eating more fruit. I've been wanting apples for a while and heck I even bought some plumbs and frozen mango (for shakes!). I'm not going to stress about crap anymore. Going to to back to the way it was as a lifestyle and not a stressful science experiment. We'll see how it goes. Either way I'm happy![]()

Good for you! I believe the stress of trying to lose weight as quickly and effectively as possible is what has really messed me up in the past. Now, I am really working on making this a sustainable, healthy, lifestyle choice and I feel so much more at ease. Great job Ecks!!

I agree Ecks! I get so caught up in how many grams of this or that and forget to enjoy. At least I am also stuck at a plateau, but I am still so glad that I am not gaining weight and can stop and wait to get the energy for another attack on the fat. Glad you are seeing changes![]()

I feel smaller today. Ever get those days? My pants feel big, my shirt feels loose... Don't know if I'm smaller or just the clothing combination that I'm wearing but it's a good feeling![]()
