So I haven't posted in a couple days! Summer weekends (Friday-sunday) have been bad for me as far as remembering to post. I'm getting this one in now though! These days tend to be graze days so I tend to list what I shouldn't have eaten. So so far this weekend I shouldn't have had a pint of summersby cider (it tastes like juice and gets me tipsy really quickly!) and the sauce that was on my ribs and chicken from the beer and rib fest in town yesterday.

So on Friday I was surfing around the net when I came upon the most peculiar thing- Jerky Guns. The premise of this is essentially a cocking gun full of meat that you squeeze onto a dehydrator and it supposedly makes perfect jerky. Well... I bought one. And now I wait for the nice folks at UPS to bring it to my door! So excited for it!

It looks like a caulking gun sort of. Let us know how it works.

Oh, I have a jerky gun! They are fantastic! I made jerky for Eldest all the time, but it has been years. I forgot all about it. Hmm, I should pull it out and make some primal jerky.

@Sabine Does it work well for fruit jerky too? I want to make both fruit and meat (maybe at the same time?!?!! oooo!!!). Apple beef jerky... hmm... can't wait for that gun!

So yesterday was another graze day.

    Breakfast
Home made beef jerky (from a roast not the gun)

    Lunch
More jerky (It was a busy day so I didn't have time to make real meals)

    Dinner
Smorgas board of hotdogs, chicken wings, slider sandwiches (took 2 slider patties and put ketchup, mustard and pickles on them), couple strawberries, some orange and yellow pepper (I was at a party).

Food I shouldn't have eaten- 1 scoop of banana chocolate ice cream

Supplements- Regulars + Vit D3 (finally bought some!) and 1 cal/mag tab

    Exercise- indoor paintball

So I'm putting together a dodge ball team. Found a local league that's cheaper so I'm going for that this season

A top of the morning! What are slider sandwiches?

If you keep on grazing, we might just be able to call you grass fed! Just teasing.

    Have a super day.

I never tried it with fruit jerky. Let me know how it works.
Yay for dodge ball. I consider that a very primal sport, especially if you are imagining yourself dodging rhinos or bobcats.
