These photos are fantastic, Ecks. Now I want some asparagus!
Your food is looking good. I'm still thinking about your protein salad with the rare meat:-)
Hey, have you ever weighed daily and noticed any relationship between weight loss and stress? I know women seem to do that, but I wondered if men did too.
Chronic stress issue was somewhat alleviated for four days and I lost weight every single day. Had to deal with the stress issue yesterday and guess what, no weight loss! Same food, same sleep, same exercise -- in fact less food, if anything.
Your journal is just good. No way around it:-)
I finally found them, Ecks. Pork rinds. Ate half the bag because I was feeling peckish. I am blaming you. They were called Bakon-Ets, or something horrific like that.
I will have to try breading something with them.

More and more, our life has been governed by specialists, who know too little of what lies outside their province to be able to know enough about what takes place within it.

They make great 'breading', although my daughter complains they make things taste 'too porky'. I have also had recent success with crushed up rice chex. Some non-primal things in it, but not too many. And a little goes a long way.
@Sabine The last few chicken recipes I've had have used a mixture of blended pork rinds, salt, pepper, spices, and coconut flour as the breading. Including the chicken wings in the above photo! So good!
@pam I try not to weigh daily. the scale is one of my stressers... my "fall off the wagon" if you will. If I weigh once out of line i obsess about it. Sometimes weighing 2-3 times within a few minutes but definitely weighing like 6 times in a day. I just try keep it away, it's always bad news.
@Judg :P Bakonets are what I have in my cupboards... the fritos ones... mmm... delicious!
So I've been hungry like all day... even though I'm eating at regular times... wonder what it is
Breakfast- 4 asparagus spears (left over from dinner)
Lunch- Burger with a fried egg, pemeal bacon, monteray jack, and guacamole (no bun) + a salad at "Frat Burger"... Team lunch, and since I skipped the last 4 i figured I should go
Dinner- Protien salad same as before except shrimp instead of steak. Left over wings (6 or so). 3 pieces of lindt dark.
Supplements: The usual- 2tbsp of mct, 3000mg fish oil, 6000ui D3
So I get an email at the end of the day (well my team does) stating that for the next 3 weeks starting monday, our team will be getting an extra set of hands from a different department... As I read on I find her name- it's my boss' daughter. I pray that she has major dogface or something because if anything I'd be scared to think she's cute or something. Not a clue what she looks like or what her personality is like but for the life of me i hope she's nothing special.

What's MCT? I'm confused as to which supplements I should be taking...
Starting Weight: 208 lbs
Current Weight: 177 lbs
Yes, I know. Was thinking maybe you'd just noticed. Let's definitely skip the stress - weight thing then. Not important. I was just curious.
Well, let's hope the boss's daughter is not a complete imbecile and unable to work with your team. If she's really cute and fun and all the things that you would like, it might not be the end of the world!!! I mean, your boss must know he's putting her in with you! I'd say it's his fault if she's the perfect friend or...?
