I really sympathise with the dodgy ankle Ecks.

I 'just sprained' my ankle in 1988, no one told me of the possibility of ligament damage, I had inappropriate and not enough physiotherapy, and I still have a lot of trouble with that ankle today and it has been assessed at only 85% function. It is often painful and is a big part of my weight gain - which is why swimming is such a godsend.

I try my best. Takes a lot to get under my skin. Sometimes I think I'm almost too oblivious as to what's going on.

    Yesterday.

    Breakfast: Steak, coconut milk shake

Post breakfast ralph- not sure how much of it I held down.

Went home sick (as you've already read).

Ginger mint tea (loose leaf mint, chipped up ginger root, hot water), followed by nap, followed by another tea and a small bowl of pork rinds.

Round 3 o'clock my body was starting to tell me "hey I puked up the tylonol can I get some nourishment over here??" to which I replied "yes! Have a steak!"... and some chocolate! Woo! and that stayed down well.

Like 2 hours later I was hungry all over again. Hit dinner with a buddy of mine at a pub/restaurant called "Chicago".

Dinner (at the restaurant): 2 Chicken breasts topped with a mushroom alfredo white wine sauce and a big salad on the side. Skipped the green beans on the side of that.

    Eve- more chocolate.

    Today!

Breakfast- 4 slices of bacon, coconut milk shake, regular supplements

Lunch- Steak and 2 cups of veggies

Dinner- 1 chicken thigh, some chicken wings, big ass salad.

I'm feelin so much better today though debating not swimming tonight... Body has definitely been teling me this week to slow down. I still have 3 hours to decide if I'm gonna go or not.

Did you really have five Tylenol? I'm surprised you're even functioning. That stuff is evil, man. Glad to see you puked it out. Hope tonight finds you all well and ready for a good night's sleep and some swimming and dodgeball.

Hey all! Sorry for taking so freakin long to respond today. No, I didn't end up sleeping. I fell asleep at around 8:30. I take that as a sign that my body wasn't done healing up. Slept like a boss though, woke this mornin feelin like I was back to normal! Work's was busy today, I can't talk about it because a lot of it circles around our earnings call yesterday but regardless it made it an interesting day!

Today was also a very meat heavy day for my diet... even moreso than the usual

Breakfast- Chicken thigh and coconut milkshake. Forgot my D3 and Salmon oil pills

Lunch- Chicken thigh, chicken wings, 2 cups veggies

Snack- 1/2 chicken thigh, 3 wings, 1 piece of camino 55% cacoa caramel snap chocolate, 1 piece of camino 55% espresso chocolate.

    Dinner- MASSIVE steak attack!

    Dessert- 1 piece lindt 90%

Got the bible study group together tonight for a break from the usual- instead we did a barbecue and just hung out. Kind of needed to happen I think because a lot of the guys have been losing focus and not really coming as much. A nigh of fellowship was definitely in order!

Yes, I'd definitely say the fellowship is the first part. When I taught in public schools, it was the same. I always felt the main thing was to make a classrom where students felt happy and wanted and unthreatened and then, and only then, start teaching. How are you guys going through the Bible?
