Yay, ecks. 290. Under 290 coming up rapidly. Way to go! Kudos, congratulations, A+, etc. I vote that March be our best primal month ever and that we all lose a ton of weight and feel great and sleep great and have a minimum of stress.

Pam you are always so uplifting! Wonder if march will be the month that we get called upon for our second round of photos. I have a feeling it will be.

    Food

Lunch- Meatloaf, chicken, big salad, 2 squares 99%, 1 square 90%

Dinner- Steak sandwich part 2 and turnip fries

For those who haven't seen my steak sandwich it's 2 thiny sliced pieces of sirloin steak with bacon, goat cheese, roasted red peppers, tomatoes and spinach in the middle. I can't post a picture of the redo yet because this one was actually made for an old friend's food blog. Once it's up on her blog I will post a photo to my journal. (There is one on page 14 but the redo looks so much better!). She asked me to be a guest on her blog because people keep asking her to do gluten free options and she said that she's having a hard time doing them because she is a quote "bread whore" (her words not mine! lol). Either way I'm excited to be posted somewhere where I can get some exposure.

I think Mark's group is still posting pictures from around 1/6 and 1/7. I sent my pictures in on 1/16. So, I'm thinking it might be a while.

Your meals always sound so yummy! Have a super day!

Woot! Awesome job, Ecks. Now we all have to super-kick-ass in March so we can see the biggest difference we can get in those quarterly pictures.

Food for yesterday (sorry been uuber busy)

Breakfast- Coconut Milk shake (coconut milk, strawberries, blue berries, cocoa powder), 2 slices of bacon

Lunch- Chicken and steak (little bit of each, leftovers because i had forgot to plan for a lunch)

Dinner- Molokhia on cauliflower rice, 4 "chicken ribs" (Creation of my butcher that is essentially ground chicken wrapped in bacon), 3tbsp labneh

    Exercise 3x 10 pushups

    Today

So I ran into 2 no-no's this week already. 1) I didn't put the scale away and I let myself become scale obsessive. and 2) Dairy, tried it again and... well the scale doesn't lie. 3 lbs up... not what I wanted. Needless to say this morning the scale went in the closet where I can't fret about it and the rest of the goat cheese and labneh went straight to the garbage.

Breakfast- Same as yesterday no strawberries

Lunch- 1/2lb or so of steak, molokhia no cauliflower rice

    Dinner TBD

    Exercise- Dodgeball

Labneh, yep, that is very good stuff. Darn dairy. If only it tasted awful. I swear, everytime I read your menus with shakes, I get the urge to make one -- but no fruit or chocolate or hazelnuts for me in March. Thinking of March as boot camp. Totally on target and no mess ups. And if it doesn't work, April just might be water only month!

    To finish my last post

Dinner- Coconut milk shake- coconut milk, blueberries, banana, cocoa (something I could consume on the way to dodgeball)

We did really well tonight, I played barefoot again... unfortunately my last out was straight to the face though and i spit my lip.

Post game the team wanted to get together for drinks- I didn't want to be the one left out so I got a pint of strongbow and miked it for all it was worth (everyone else got 2 drinks and pub grub).

Once I got home I had too much energy so I went for a quick 30 min 2km walk. (measured it out on google maps, 2km even)
