I think I could eat about two bites of that and be full.

I like your plan for Lent. When you are feeling pangs, but not eating, do you think of the spiritual aspect of it at all? I have never fasted for spiritual reasons, and I wonder if it makes it easier, or more challenging, because you are concentrating on it in a way.

Hey Sabine, It makes it both difficult and easier at the same time. On the one hand I am fasting for the purpose of spiritual reflection. On the other hand because I'm not doing for health and I'm doing it every day I'm finding I'm having weird and constant cravings (flip back one page and the burger will speak for my last comment). It's difficult because it's not a tangible reason for fasting and I find myself being tempted to eat when I know I shouldn't. All in all it's been a great experience so far.

    Thanks siobhan!

I finally found a tortilla recipe that works! So I made tacos yesterday... Here's the result...

I also attempted a dessert... I suck at baking but I'm quite happy with these... It's a shame though- I don't know the recipe for sure because it's batter leftover from failed pancakes with some niceties thrown in and some more coconut flour to firm it up. Blueberry "Muffins" with pecans, maple syrup, and shredded coconut.
