Mmmm... So my last meal was a massive prime rib steak (bone in of course), with sweet potato and carrot that were roasted in pig fat, salt, and garlic... It was yesterday mid day. Well today I want to get on track for making my one meal dinner instead of mid day so I'm going to have to go slightly over 24 hours fasting (it'll be close to 31 me thinks by the time I get to dinner time.) the only problem is that I stumbled upon this...

Oh dear god I want it all! I shouldn't torture myself with this site but it seriously looks soo good! Doesn't help that it's going to be a dead week at work.

What did you end up making? Or did you from the list? I ended up there because I was craving cheez whiz (I know... my cravings have gone funny since fasting) And I made it and it was awesome! I put the cheese sauce (grassfed organic whipping cream, old cheddar, sriracha sauce and organic cream cheese) on a mixture of cauliflower, mushrooms, shallots, garlic and chicken breast. Delicious!

I haven't made it yet, but I got the recipe for jerky from ground beef. I have a lb. of grass-fed ground beef in the freezer that I want to do something fun with. I have an electric stove, so I have no worries about leaving it on overnight - think I'll do it tonight. I have a smoky paprika African spice blend that I think will be perfect.

Ecks, I think I might be able to use some of those recipes on whole30. Hmmm. Just nothing that's anywhere near sweets.

    Food porn time!! Woo!

Spiced ground beef burger stuffed with (yes I have a contraption that stuffs burgers) tomato and guacamole. Topped with a mushroom, jalapeņo pepper, and shallot cheese sauce (whipping cream, cheddar cheese, cream cheese, and sriracha sauce). All on a pork chop "bun" with fried chicken skin and bacon under the patty. Peppered baby potatoes on the side.

Hey, I made the jerky from ground beef, it turned out great. Very convenient form of portable protein, tasty, and obviously I know exactly what is in it. The smoky spices are a winner, but I am sure just about any spice combo would be nice.
