I stumbled across the net and found the Daily Apple this past October 2011. I was eating all of the kids Halloween candy along with pizza and feeling worst and wondering why at 5'9 and 280 pounds I was feeling like a slug. Read through the pages here on the blog, and now just over a month later I'm down to 248lbs and I feel great. Rock on fellow Groks! My goal for the year is to get below 200lbs and then I will set a new goal.
Congrats on your early success. I have similar starting and goal weights.
Just wanted to comment that I was having one or two not-so-primal beverages with a friend last night, and at some point late in the night (I don't remember exactly how), we found ourselves trying to do our impressions of Doc from Back To The Future. I probably yelled "Great Scott!" about 40 times last night.
