Coconut oil included in fat intake?
Might be being super ignorant but I always add in my coconut intake when checking on my overall fat intake on FitDay (have to keep doing it or I get off track!). But... with it being medium chain fatty acid and not readily stored in the body as fat, do I really need to worry about it?
Yes, it's calories of very little thermic affect on the body. Meaning very little energy is expended by the body to deal with the fat. It's energy in and counts.
