    Corned Beef -- Yum!

    Primal Fuel
So I placed a recent order with US Wellness Meats and they accidentally sent me a chunk of Corned Beef. The only corned beef I had ever eaten is the stuff you find in delis on rye bread and the horrible salty kind in the supermarket.

The Corned Beef from US Wellness was totally different. Not salty at all. It was delicious with lovely glistening fat all over it. ...and the leftovers are delicious too!!

Anyone else love real corned beef?

It's great with eggs in an omelette and mustard.

Deeerrrrrrr - I'm so stupid, just googled this cos I thought "corned" beef, surely not allowed?? So there's no corn in it at all, lol!!! I guess it's still a processed meat tho so not strictly PB but still meat/protein all the same.... but like you breadsauce, I'm in the UK and only thought it came in tins!!

An English girl who's been on lots of different diets, weight gone up and down but always been a naturalist at heart and have always wondered why "Conventional Wisdom" diets don't allow you to eat red meat and nuts - that are purely natural things?! So feel I've found my niche in the PB/Paleo Lifestyle and really want to make this my way of life for good!!!

UK tinned stuff seems to be ok...prob high in yukkies BUT a nice simple once in a while go-to food on a tight day, no carbs, grain, starch...so happy :-)

The name comes from the peppercorns in the seasoning.
