Cant really say yet as I just started taking it today but Ive been having some pain in my pelvic area (there’s a small fibroid in the area that could be responsible) for the last 3-4 days, The pain seems to have substantially decreased since this morning, which could simply be a coincidence of course, but I started taking the FAM this morning & took 2 doses today.

I haven’t stopped taking the salt. That thought was for my hubby who absolutely hates it & is not inclined to suck the stuff down with his idoral (he was getting possible stomach upset with the Lugols so I ordered the tabs for him)
But I’m taking the FAM in addition to the Iodine & all the extra supplements

Was looking for that site & still cant find it but since the info on these sites seems to be pretty much the same ill post here.

I suspect this could be a VERY IMPORTANT part of your Interstitial Cystitis problem: Fluoride Poisoning, ESPECIALLY in view of your severe detox problems. You may want to get a 3 stage Reverse Osmosis Filter for your water & avoid all products with fluoride like the plague.

My STORY:

In 2003, I began experiencing a nagging morning brain fog—a confused, “what-am-I-to-do-next?” kind of thing, when I first addressed the mirror for shaving in the morning. Soon, at the suggestion of my wife, a regimen of one grain Armour natural desiccated Thyroid was begun (one grain = 60 mg.). And within a very short time, I had no more low body temperatures, no uncontrolled shivers and another big plus–no more symptoms of asthma! No longer needed are those various inhalers that had become the norm for more than ten years! Additionally, I now had a fuller eyebrow, which had never been more than half there. (With subsequent increases, my dose is now 3 gr.)

At the end of that first year, on October 1, 2003 while using thyroid and feeling GREAT like I hadn’t felt for years, our County began adding “Hydrofluosilicic Acid”, the cheapest (and most dangerous form of) Fluoride available to our water district. Within the next few weeks, both my wife and I discovered a reversal of the good health we had discovered after starting the use of thyroid supplementation. When we visited the Water District Plant and complained of the horrible effects of that fluoridation, the manager said: “Hold it, you are preaching to the choir! We must add it, since it has been mandated by the county, and I need my job.” The manager was actually (privately) very agreeable to our position, admitting knowledge of toxicity and the effects of fluoride on human health.

Inside of those three weeks, both my wife and myself felt that our thyroid supplement was no longer doing anything for us. With much Internet searching and watching the difference in how our health was going downhill, we became aware of many articles written by doctors worldwide that were warning of the very problems and dangers we were currently experiencing. We subsequently bought and installed a 5-stage reverse-osmosis filtration system, which takes out the fluoride by filtering to about .0001 to .0003 microns, and in a very short time we were back to our good health and our thyroid levels were once more at a good level. (But, a diligent awareness tells us that we should increase our daily-dose when those niggling hints of hypothyroidism present themselves.) Since that time we avoid the use of any toothpaste! Rather – we use baking soda and filtered water and avoid “most juices and soft drinks.” We even tote our filtered water along to stores, movies and restaurants.

Our research had led us to such articles as this excerpt from the following:

“The Effects of Fluoride On The Thyroid Gland” – By Dr Barry Durrant-Peatfield, Medical Advisor to Thyroid UK 9-9-4

It has been known since the latter of the 19th century that certain communities, notably in Argentina, India and Turkey were chronically ill, with premature ageing, arthritis, mental retardation, and infertility; and high levels of natural fluorides in the water were responsible. Not only was it clear that the fluoride was having a general effect on the health of the community, but in the early 1920s, Goldemberg, working in Argentina showed that fluoride was displacing iodine; thus compounding the damage and rendering the community also hypothyroid from iodine deficiency.

They all insist, as in the briefing paper to Members of Parliament – that fluoridation is safe and non-injurious to health.

HIGHLY DAMAGING TO THE THYROID GLAND—“This was the basis of the research in the 1930s of: May, Litzka, Gorlitzer von Mundy, who used fluoride preparations to treat over-active thyroid illness. Their patients either drank fluoridated water, swallowed fluoride pills or were bathed in fluoridated bath water. Their thyroid function was as a result, greatly depressed. The use in 1937 of fluorotyrosine for this purpose showed how effective this treatment was; but the effectiveness was difficult to predict and many patients suffered total thyroid loss. So it was given a new role and received a new name, Pardinon. It was marketed not for over-active thyroid disease, but as a pesticide. (Note the manufacturer of fluorotyrosine was IG Farben who also made sarin, a gas used in World War II).

In my humble opinion, not only has our health been compromised by the ingestion of Fluoridated water, but the earlier and ongoing policy of adding fluorides into so many processed foods and beverages, such as soft drinks, beer and tea, bottled water and reconstituted juices has added significant levels of damaging fluoride “products” to our daily diet and to the detriment of our thyroid health. It matters not that any certain County might NOT add fluoride to their water supply, because those products used in any county will, by necessity, be from a central distributing system and will contain whatever that county has in their water. You get it, no matter what!

The uncounted for, and unrecorded releases of fluorine and the resultant “fluoride-compounds” from industrial sites such as: mining, sand and gravel pit operations, as well as entities like super-phosphate fertilizer plants have certainly added to the miseries of us all. Those “releases” could have, and still can be prevented, or at least controlled, if it were not for the profitability of the “products” in question. “It’s all about the money for our huge, and now, nearly tax-exempt corporations!”

In summary: Fluoride has become the “lifeblood of the modern industrial economy.” So you can see why “industry” is so reluctant to admit to its part in the cover-up of the long and ongoing dangerous roles that fluoride plays. Because of fluoride’s rather hidden, broad industrial applications, the general public is only just now becoming aware of its airborne emissions, and its toxic by-products. Our awareness of fluoride comes primarily from its uses in drinking water and toothpaste, as well as preadolescent fluoride treatments as a hedge against future dental cavities. While I personally doubt most of those claims, this insidious poison has been subjecting our collective thyroid glands to a near total annihilation!

I feel that we must keep up with our own health evaluation by making sure we get enough, but moderate amounts, of iodized sea salt in our diets needed for thyroid production. (Though “most” doctors will caution you against it, fearing hypertension and heart-problems.) Also, and this is most important — testing, not with the “TSH” test that is normally foisted upon us, but by asking – - nay – - demanding the Free T3 and the Free T4 thyroid evaluations, and treating the deficiencies with Armour “natural, desiccated” thyroid! IT WORKS!!
