I have been hanging around here, and a bunch of other forums for about a year. Lately I've been wondering about fat loss and haven't ever seen this discussed.

In the case of someone eating 'at a deficit' and exercising PB style, overweight, but losing a couple pounds a week. When, in the normal 24hr day, does fat dissipate? Surely it doesn't come off in a linear fashion, ie. 1 gram per hour. I'm thinking most, if not all, of it gets burned at night when we sleep.

I've read that fat burning stops when insulin is elevated.
