Any ideas for helping dairy cravings?

I seem to be using cheese as a way to avoid actually cooking the meat and veggies I should be eating. But it is sooooooo yummy. Aside from only letting myself have cheese ON veggies, what are some ways you've reduced dairy?

Sugar was actually a fairly easy craving to overcome once I started eating enough fat. I'd like that sort of solution not willpower based ones.

Right now, I even eat my scrambled eggs with cream cheese.

I don't know if I actually have a problem with dairy, but I do know I need more meat and that dairy is holding me back from that.

I did Whole 30 and it helped me cut back on dairy. Now I just crave heavy cream & greek yogurt

Eugh. Glad to hear it helps though. Do you remember when things stopped tasting weird without cheese?

Took me 6 months of primal before I was strong enough to quit dairy. It's been 7 days. First 4 days I had massive withdrawal symthomps but I've been fine since. I still eat ghee. Mac nuts and primal bark makes for a nice replacement. Or even sea salt on your veg/omelette. I also love chopped onion in my omelets.

No tips from me, as I am struggling big time with it. Prob is, its always combined with coffee, which is what is so hard to give up Tomorrow I am going cold turkey, my husband will be home, which will help. Last time I went cold turkey the withdrawals were so bad, and I was useless for 4 days, so I quit.

y not make grass fed cheeseburgers best of both worlds... grind up some mushrooms and throw them in the mix too.

I'm currently struggling with this. But may have found the solution. Check out the "bullet-proof coffee" thread. Totally satisfies the craving for coffee with cream.. something I haven't been able to shake until recently.

Grass-fed butter is significantly different, though.

I've never had that problem. Food has always tasted fine to me, cheese just garnished it. Whole 30 made me have a tummy ache whenever I ate cheese again, but I'm okay on fattier stuff like cream & greek yogurt.
