Whats happening with your afternoon? Sounds like something not so good?????
Always nice to see people happy. Even if I am now contemplating my afternoon.

I took it to mean that she's several hours ahead of you by time zones.
Judg, I love the Charlotte Bronte quote!
I've mostly lurked here. Not much to say, I guess. I am contemplating what to do today for exercise, as the temps are heading for the 90's. Something where I stay air conditioned I think. I don't like hot weather, and I'm not at all acclimated to it yet this year. Fortunately, it will be more seasonable in a few days (or so they say).
Jodis has it right, Tomi. With a three-hour time difference, it just amused me that you were spitting energy for your morning, and mine was pretty well over.
Thanks, Jodis, I like cycling through my favourite quotes in my signatures.

Sorry to bring up a gross subject but I could really use some help. Does anyone have a good home remedy for a case of the trots? This has been going on now for a week on and off and, in between mad dashes to the loo, I feel fine. No nausea involved but no appetite either. My dad and I eat together and I haven't eaten anything else outside the house and he isn't sick so I doubt this is food poisoning. I ate normally for the first few days thinking it would pass but then decided to give my digestive system some time off and did a 24 hour fast. That seemed to work but then last night I finally got hungry and ate and it started up all over agin with a vengeance. Urrrrgh.
ETA: I have never had IBS or other digestive problems and am at a healthy weight now.

Are you taking magnesium? That's a side effect.

A week is a long time for your body to rid yourself of something. When I get a rare occurrence like this, I stick with plain full fat yogurt and drink black tea (tannins help) and bananas in the yogurt if it's tolerated.
A week is a long time, though. Hope it clears up soon.
Yes. It is along time. If I'm not better by Monday I'm going to the doctor.

Paleobird -- hope you're feeling better soon! Take it from someone with chronic diarrhea - it really screws up life when you're running to the bathroom all the time!
Have you been anywhere where you may have picked up a bug in your food? Perhaps even from some organic veggies or at a cafe? You might need some meds if it doesn't clear up. Good luck.........
