I wore a pair of jean shorts yesterday that I've not gotten on in 2 summers. Then last night when getting ready for bed, I slipped them off without unsnapping or unzipping without even thinking about it. Scale might not be moving, but inches must be changing!
My "motivation" pants are hanging on my closet door. They are Silver jeans, size 12. I bought them at the Good Will - not knowing they were originally $80 jeans!! I paid $6 for them - SCORE!!!! I wore them for a short time during the winter of 2010 when I had lost 50 pounds on the Medifast diet (think soy meal replacement). I LOVE those jeans and I'm dying to be able to wear them again!!! I also have a closet full of really cute stuff that I had bought that winter because we went on a Carribean Cruise that year. So I have CUTE tops and capris that I'm so anxious to be able to wear again. I have 2 tankini's that I was hoping to be able to wear this summer - but its looking very doubtful at this point. Next summer for sure!!

Keep it up Tomi, you will get there. It's just slower for some of us. I like to think slow and steady wins the long term race - we will keep it off when we hit goal, since we worked so hard to get there!
Thanks for the encouragement. I know it will come off - slow by steady - as long as I stay the course. I need bumper pads like they put in the bowling alley for little kids so they don't gutter ball! tht would help me stay on course!
The day is going great! I walked 2.75 miles this morning. I'm really enjoying the walking and seeing the flowers blooming in the peoples yards! Now I'm taking a little break from yardwork to make some lunch. I'm working on a 20 hour fast! Didn't eat cuz I wasn't hungry. I'm frying a chicken breast now. Will finish that and then back outside in this wonderful sunshine! Soaking up the rays and making vitamin D out of them!

I made a quick intro yesterday in the newbie section. I'm basically one week into Primal. I haven't stood on the scale -b/c i don't really want to- lol. I picked up Marks book last night (PB) and can't wait to read it. I love love this website. I'm always so motivated after reading some of the articles I can't get over the energy I have eating this way!!! It's awesome!!
Tomi - I relate to your closet full of smaller clothes!!!
Pedidic - I smiled when I read about your jean shorts I get excited when my skirts move around my body when I'm walking (the back ends up at the front or side lol)
