I think they call that a tulip skirt. I've got one of those I wore to a couple of weddings last year. Really great thrift store find. It won't be wearable much longer though, and it's not as versatile as a pencil skirt. But I absolutely loved wearing it.

Okay, how does that work? I've been assuming that they've changed the sizes since I was young, as I'm wearing smaller numbers now than when I was married and weighed 135. But in your case, it's the same dress... Do we develop a heavier core as we age? LOL! Sure isn't extra muscle in my case.
