Unhappy Help~what happened to my menstruation.

    Primal Fuel
    Hi everyone.
I am new here, and I am from China. My English is not so good, but I really need your help.

I started to eat according to PB from 25th Oct this year. I used to have a normal mentruation cycle---
27-29days. However, there have been 35 days from my last period.

I was wondering is there everybody having the similar situation with me?

I would like to post my diet below:

Breakfast: two eggs, oil (peanut oil 15g), pak choi / lettuce 250g, sesame 5g, shredded coconut 5g.

    Lunch: oil 15g, beef/ pork/ chicken 100g, green leaf 350g

Snack: almonds 2 oz, whole fat milk 1 cup

    Dinner: similar with lunch.

I caculate my calories intake and macronurients everyday: around 1600kcal,

    fat:carbsroteins: 50%, 20%,30%

Sometimes I eat out with my friends, calories intake around 2000-2500kcal.

I didn't overexercise: walk to work and back home: 50mins.

By the way, I didn't stick to PB sometimes, for example, two of my good friends had birthday

party last month, I ate cakes and candies a lot on the parties. Does it matter?

Should I go back to my normal diet --- I used to stick to Body for life for women diet.

Thanks all~ My period came yesterday afternoon, 7 days late.

I'm no expert, but I think that changing lifestyle factors like diet can affect cycles such as the menstrual cycle. I wouldn't worry too much. Give it a month or two to see if it settles down. I assume you know you are not pregnant!

    What are your goals?

Thanks. I had a pregnant test yesterday, it's negative. I am feeing anxious and can't sleep well.
I haven't set a goal yet. It's my first month to try PB. If PB lifestyle is suitable for me (won't disture my mentrustual cycle), I will stick to it.
I don't have too many problems about my weight, I am 5'4, 118lb. I just wanna tone up, have a nice shape.

Give it a couple of months. Being a few days late is no big problem.

The exact same thing happened to me! I went from a cycle of 26 or so days to 35 days! My next period was after 31 days and I'm waiting on my third period since getting a little more strict about paleo/primal. I am quite happy to have longer cycles.

Anxiety can affect your cycle too. Give it some time. Don't overdo it on the cake though.

Yes. I first posted here, but no one replied to me. So I posted in nutrition section...

My first period after starting primal was about 8 days late. Time for my second soon, we'll see if it's late, early or on time...
Character is defined by what you do when no one else is looking.

This has nothing to do with your cycle, but I just wanted to mention that you should cook with coconut oil or butter or lard instead of peanut oil because peanut oil is too high in PUFAs.
You lousy kids! Get off my savannah!
