    Home roasted coffee

    I've been following the thread concerning drinking coffee - pros and cons. Anybody have any insight into home roasted organic coffee? I am a home-roaster (also a homebrewer), and I only purchase green beans that are farm-gate (purchased directly from the farmer) and organic.

    Good on ya. Where do you source your beans and what kind of roasting technology do you use? I have been roasting for a couple of years, get beans from Sweet Maria's and roast in a popcorn popper purchased for $10 off eBay. I am getting tempted by a small drum roaster.

    I also get my beans from SweetMaria's. I have an older Fresh Roast +8 that I have been using for quite a while. I started with popcorn poppers, also.
