I was wondering if boiling this type of seed would produce a significant amount of Potassium in the water as I already know that boiling foods for a period of time or twice can significantly leach out Potassium.

My other question is, if I do this and it does work, would the water also contain a significant amount of fat? I am new to cooking seeds.

Also , would I roast the seeds first and then boil them to extract the Potassium or do I just boil them?
