yep, after I tooted my horn about my 5 great days, I went over yesterday. Still good with no sugar and no grain, just a little too much of what I am supposed to eat. Could be worse, right?

Ruth I have noticed once I really get into eating this way, carbs are not the issue.. protein is.

while I lowered my protein I am considering it a range 61-73..this way the numbers make me less crazy.

that is a good idea. My numbers are things I shoot for. For me as long as I am under 2,000 calories I am ahead of what I was averaging before! So I am trying to stay well below that and keep my percentages in order. I know that as this becomes more ingrained it will become easier.

165 today. Okay, the scale goes away until the end of the month. I'm eating too much. Yesterday, which I didn't log, because I couldn't remember what I ate, was too much. I can feel that I'm bloated. Today is another day and I'll aim for improvement over yesterday.

I'm still struggling for a list of go-to meals.

I'm suspecting that avocado is a problem...but I don't want it to be (insert massive crying here). With no dairy and limited nuts, I need all the healthy fat sources I can get! Will continue to monitor this.
