well I deleted that one and tried again. I am not sure why it is doing this but it says it pinned (I am using my phone and the pinterest app, but have used it often and never had a problem). It is blank again in the "I did it" and comes up really squished when you click it, then when I click that it takes me to the image. weird.

one of your pins is showing up blank to me, but shows up when I click on it.

    Weird. Maybe it's Pinterest

If I don't get to "talk" to you again today (though I'll be online off and on most of the day), Chris, have a very safe trip and wonderful holiday. I'll miss you while you're gone!

No snow, but it's cold. It's okay, though, I don't like snow

161.2 today. The lowest I have been since like April or early May. Hooray. Does this stuff work? More cool, some noticeable movement on the inches!!!!! Today, I'm sure I will go over on carbs (veggies cooked in delicious fat) and protein, but I'm okay with that!

    Merry Christmas MDA friends!!!

Yesterday was a good day for me food-wise. I already planned that I would eat higher calorie/carb, where the carbs would mostly be in the form of spinach/artichoke dip and roasted brussels sprouts. Also, I made mashed potatoes, brownies, and chocolate. While those 3 hold no power over me right now, I am a cook who tastes as I'm cooking...and I accepted that I was going to be okay with that. I ended the day totally, completely satisfied. Had I wanted the mashed potatoes, I would have had some. But, I was beyond happy with my prime rib

I doubt many guys are reading my journal, but just in case, possible TMI. I think I've mentioned that I had PCOS. After I finally found a doctor to treat it, my TOM cramps became terrible...almost unbearable. There was almost no relief for 8-10 hours. I had learned that if I ate well during PMS week, particularly a TON of dark greens, my cramps became normal again. My first week of NK was PMS week and I was rather worried about TOM was going to bring. Of course, TOM started on Christmas. But, guess what? It was as good as when I stuffed those green veggies down. Now, this was only the first month, so I'll need to monitor this, but I'm excited with the initial results

Ruth, that is awesome news! Having pain gone is an amazing feeling. It would be great if this were the key!

Glad to see you were successful with your goals over Christmas.
