Home. It was a long week - Austin, to Amarillo, to Santa Fe, to home.

I'm home until Thursday afternoon - yay! Lots to do, though. I want to try and make some freezer meals for DH, laundry, sleep, get caught up at work, etc. Rest being about the most important on that list!

In 7 days, while on vacation, I gained over 10 pounds. I think it's going to take 5-7 to drop that weight. Mathematically, doesn't make sense, but it is what it is. My focus this week is on eating good, nourishing, food.

hey, I found a great project for your knitting. Ravelry: Draft Stopper pattern by Lion Brand Yarn

You knit a long tube with 100% wool, then wash it in very hot water until it shrinks/felts to size, sew up the ends, then fill with rice or kitty litter and you have door draft stoppers. The loom is the perfect tool for these.

Nourish yourself the rest will take care of itself!

oh you can make them for sure. Just be sure it is 100% wool, and generally not white (the bleaching process for some reason messes with its ability to felt). If for some reason you felt one and it ends up too short you can just felt another one and sew them together. If it ends up too long, just cut it off. Once felted it is just like material. Very cool.
