    What's the deal with yogurt?

    Shop Now
I recently read a post that said the insulin spike you get from yogurt would cause white bread to blush.....is this TRUE!! I do enjoy a greek yogurt every couple days with either fresh berries, raw coconut flakes or almond butter stirred in. I have cut back on milk consumption since going primal but still eat a bit of goat cheese on most days. I am not trying to lose weight only get leaner and lose some bodyfat. So what is the deal with dairy? Primal or not? I am curious to hear some of your opinions.....

Were they talking about plain, full fat yogurt - or Yoplait(high fructose corn syrup and little fat)?

Not sure....but I eat plain 2% Fat greek yogurt. I love it because it has 20 grams of protien! I read so many posts saying to cut dairy.....if you are not trying to lose weight is it necessary to cut dairy?

I've found it helpful to limit dairy. Dairy is insulin-o-genic, but it shouldn't scare you off from something as delicious as Fage Total full fat

^, fermented dairy is pure carb and protein, so they will spike insulin. the sugar is already broken down so it will shoot thru ur blood stream very quickly great for refeeds.
