    Soy?

    Primal Fuel
I'm only new to Primal and although I can't imagine my ancestors hunting down a tofu plant I was wondering what the official line is on Tofu and Soy...?

    Thanks

    No soy unless it's fermented.

Most people on here, including me, put soy in the "death" category along with wheat, seed oils, etc.

Mark is a little more lenient when it comes to like edamame and such.

miso, tamari are good choices since they're fermented soy. some do tempeh as well, i dont but its a choice. tofu is by far the worst, i mean just the look of it makes u think how can this be made without being over processed.

Thanks for advice, sorry if I offended anyone...I'm so new to this and couldn't find anything on Soy before I chowed down on a big serve. Thanks for the article, I will definitely have a read of it to educate myself more.

Thanks again for supporting the newbie

Any questions are welcome on the forum! Don't be sorry about it. A good thing to ask too, since tofu's such a devil

I'm trying to have a laugh at myself and how much I need to learn! I thought I had it all sussed out but I can see this is going to be a big learning curve for me!

Lucky for me I'm comitted and dedicated but what hope does everyone else have who are constantly fed misinformation...no wonder there's resistance when nutrition is based on so many assumptions fed to us by the media!

This is really eye opening and thanks again for the support...it's really nice to have somewhere to ask questions and get a REAL response
