    I posted a very similar topic/question just a few days ago. I tend to have the 10:30 pm binge problem especially on days I IF. So, I moved my dinner back from 6:00 to 8:00 and it seems to be working so far (knock on wood). Last night I cured my midnight "craving" with 3-4 blackberries, 1/2 oz cheese, and 3-4 olives.

    The other day I dipped my bacon in coconut cream/milk. Oh man, and the cinnamon sounds great!

    awesome tips. i'll try fitday and see what my day looks like. i bet you guys are right and my fats/calories/proteins are quite low. i should probably also get over the "need" to have a dessert after a meal. bacon at night sounds fun...and brushing my teeth after dinner would be an excellent deterrent, i think. so what do you guys eat when you do crave something sweet if not berries?

    Eat olives. For me, my brain seems to be satisfied by sweet or salty if I have a craving for the other.

    @ jazzno -- I like a little glass of chilled, full-fat coconut milk (about 1/4 cup), for sipping when I want something sweet and satiating.

    A small peice of dark chocolate. Trust me, after that, you won't want anything else, and it's really hard to binge on super dark chocolate.

    binge eating. yes. i have it.


    but i've mostly noticed it's because my calories throughout the day are too low.


    it's a struggle to not stress eat.

    Even if you fall flat on your face, at least you're moving forward!

    Primal Blueprint Expert Certification


    This totally happens to me if I am ravenous when I get home. The way I deal with it is to make sure that the good snacks are available so they are the first thing I go for in the frenzy. Usually it's raw veggies already chopped. I really like jicama, celery, cauliflower, and snap peas. I'll even go for raw green beans. I have to skip the nut butter area of the fridge or else I'll go overboard, but nut butter would go well with some of these. As for the nighttime binge, I go for warm almond milk sweetened with stevia and a square of a dark chocolate or carob bar.
