I think it will be awesome!
So, i spend this weekend cutting up ~10gallons of suit and rendering it . . it turned into about ~ 2gallons of tallow. Hoping to fry a turkey in it for thanksgiving
Any advice? Anyone dont this? I know most people use peanut oil.

the only advice i've heard that i can parrot is be wary when putting the bird in, that the tallow doesnt overflow and pour out
sounds delish!
I saw a video of it being done he was standing well back with turkey on a pole fulcrum and he lowered it very slowly.
Here's what i got so far. That's not apple juce, its the tallow that's still hot

However, I personally wouldn't have put hot tallow in plastic juice jugs.![]()
