    leptin reset folks ... help with foods

    can you give me some ideas to help me get my 50g protien in my breakfast?

    meat, eggs, and bacon are how i do it now .. and this on top of my other food for the day gets me near 100g of fat in a single day often!

    im no nutritionalist, and i understand my body is burning fat not carbs/sugar at this point .. but i am not comfortable eating this much fat .. also it messes with my chrons and my trips to the bathroom LOL

    im open to lots of stuff ... but its hard to choke down 3 eggs for me, so dont say 6 eggs LOL ..

    Whey powder in a smoothie will get your protein up. Do you really think you need 50g protein every day for breakfast though?

    I lost my weight (40 lb in like 6 months), through primal food, portion control, IF, and lots of walking, before I ever heard of Leptin. If I came on this site now, I'd be convinced that without 50g protein at 7 am every morning I'm doomed to diabetes and a walker.

    no interest in a powder or smoothie sorry ...

    im using a reset to push myself through a plateau ... not a permanent lifestyle .. i dont believe anyne lives like that for more than 4-8 weeks ..

    i probably dont HAVE to hit taht .. but i feel great when i do honestly .. im gonna continue teh expirementing ..

    I found it easier to eat 7-8 oz of meat than 7-8 eggs. Initially I bought breakfasty flavored sausages - apple chardonnay, pork and cherry, etc. Later I had no problem with pork chops or an 8 oz burger. Many people eat dinner leftovers, potroast, etc.

    I make a pate with chicken livers. This is a concentrated protein bomb that you can make in batches and have in the fridge for when you don't have time to cook or just can't face eggs again.

    A can of salmon and a few eggs will do the trick and isn't a ton of food. I added a few capers and a bit of goat cheese for more flavor. Otherwise I do meat and eggs. I've also been a big breakfast eater so no problem getting the 50g in for me.
