5x5 should be fine depending on your recovery ability. If you aren't progressing you may have to cut back from the recomended 3 lifting days a week to two. Depends on your recovery ability. I was going to do 2 days of Strong lifts and one day sprinting but decided to take on a new challenge (I had done stronglifts 2 years ago before going primal with some results)and progress through Marks PBF bodyweight workouts.
Goodluck. If you decide to stick with three lifting days a week you will have to eat very large protions and target 9 hours or more of sleep a night. It's alot of volume and you may have to take time off after 6-8 weeks to properly recover. Try to get out of the gym in 45 minutes or less.
