I am a male 47 living in Edmonton, Canada after spending the last 12 years in the UK.
Went Primal 4 weeks ago and never felt better.
I tended to eat clean anyway a sample of my old diet below
Bowl of Ancient Grains cereal (Everyone said it was good for you)
Large salad with a good portion of meat of fish (olive oil dressing)
Meat (chicken, fish beef)
potato or pasta
fruit and nut bars etc.
So I have been eating fairly clean and the Primal Blueprint kicked me over the edge to cut out grains and increase my vegetable consumption. Since going Primal my carb intake has been between 50-100g /day. This gives me plenty of energy to function plus keep up with my climbing and strength training.
My starting stats were 6' 193lbs about 18% body fat and in the 4 weeks I have lost 7lbs of fat and now down to 186lbs and around 14% body fat. Not sure what what ultimate goal is but I am sure I get down a couple of more percent at least. I will let my body decide when it is happy and maybe try tweaking later.
For fun I climb 2-4 a day at least twice a week.
Walk around 2-4 hours a week
Strength train (done starting strength, moved on to Madcow and am now working on Compound Exercises for big arms (really just a nice mix of compound exercises that really mix things up))
I occasionally do sandbag, bulgarian bag and kettlebell training to mix things up and I have added sprints.

Steak, eggs, potatoes - fruits, nuts, berries and forage. Coconut milk and potent herbs and spices. Tea instead of coffee now and teeny amounts of kelp daily. Let's see how this does! Not really had dairy much, and gut seems better for it.
Forgot to mention no carb flu at all.
