I just read something about how organic doesn't automatically mean toxic pesticide-free. I'm starting to feel the pressure in choosing between locally grown food and organics in the grocery store now

Actually this is where the pesticide-free spinach from TJs comes from. Does it sound good, or will it be bad just because it's from Mexico? XD

Don't forget that herbacides are used heavily in non organic produce.

I've been wondering myself if some of the things I occasionally get organic are really worth it, too. I generally avoid spinach these days and when I do get it, it's organic. But the labels always say that it uses "natural" pesticides or some such thing, even though it's USDA certified organic. Makes me wonder if that actually makes a difference or not.
