What it's like to hike a long trail for 5 months

This is a wonderful video about what it's like to hike one of the long trails in the US (the PCT). You won't necessarily love their dietary habits, but the stuff about learning how to celebrate and have fun and all the lessons learned on the trail really brings home how nature deprived we are in our ordinary lives.

A friend of mine just finished the AT. He did it over 3 years. It's quite an acomplishment.
