I confess that, as a woman, I prefer the look of slenderness to the look of muscularity. I even prefer it over "curvy."

I'm not one of those "I don't lift weights because I don't want to bulk up" people either; I lift weights regularly and have done for 20 years and counting. I LOVE lifting weights. I have a good amount of muscle on me. I'm just saying: my dream body would have some soft curves, some muscles and - yes - some bone. Maybe a little clavicle, maybe a bit of hip bone or slightly visible ribs. I'd love to have little toothpickish arms - maybe I could finally squeeze my pipes into a short-sleeve blouse!

AND... when people post videos of strong Crossfit-type women, I look at them and see similarities to my own body - but it's not a body style I covet. AND - even worse! - when people post videos (in horror) of the slender raw vegan video girls or Zuzana from BodyRock, those are the bodies I'd most like to resemble.

I have a touch of Big Girl Syndrome - similar to Little-Man Syndrome but in reverse. At 5'11" carrying a lot of muscle looks less Tight n' Toned and more Large-and-In-Charge.)

By the way, there's no judgement allowed in the confession booth.

    Confess your PB sins here.

I feel your pain. This is perhaps why I've avoided (albeit, wrongly) weights all my life. I'm built like a brick shit house with a lot of fat over top. So even with losing the fat, I'm still going to look like a line backer.

Thanks to these German and Italian genetics!

I was just complaining about my massive calves in another thread. Seemingly, I'm doomed to live with them for the rest of my line backer life.

EricC, I'm 5-10 and I totally get it. I'm built to hold muscle, and some of the cute clothes just won't work. Ever. (don't get me started on my massive calves! Ha!) Confession: i feel the same way as you!

I really like the skinny look too.

But, I tend to put on muscle really quickly too, and I don't want to be curvy, I've been 'curvy' all my life (In the obese sense of the word...>.>. The further away from a feminine form I can get the happier I will be.

FtM FtW. No hormones for me, though, just top surgery.

I also confess that I have myself fully convinced that feasting on chicken wings at a pub is perfectly Paleo.

Sometimes, not always. And they are more than likely fried in canola, so...
Oh, and then there's the whole matter of the accompanying beer.

Ha- actually, this is how I do it: chicken wings = Primal; beer = part of my 20%.
I love when I can manipulate math in my favour...

Whoa whoa whoa. You're posting Zuzana as an example of a "skinny girl" with "not too much muscle"?

    This woman?

She's freaking ripped. Not "skinny" at all. Of course her breasts are obviously fake, but still... she's essentially a body builder.
Today I will: Eat food, not poison. Plan for success, not settle for failure. Live my real life, not a virtual one. Move and grow, not sit and die.

There is a gastro pub close by that has grilled naked wings served in hot sauce w/o msg/sugar mixed with butter that has 35 wing night. Apparently the owner decided that the recipe made for the best wings and wasn't doing it for health consciousness.
