I am trying to keep the menu as primal as possible, but seeing as no one except us eat primally, I have no problem with serving non-primal foods there such as organic corn. I am trying hard to stay away from gluten and sugar for the meal, otherwise what to serve would not be an issue.

@seaweed, what is deodourised coconut oil? Never heard of it. The only substitute I can use for butter in the cake frosting is crisco, and not only do I not want to use that crap, I hate the taste.
    I found this
Refined Coconut Oil you could experiment with the unrefined but it is very coconutty and def an aquired taste.

Sometimes. Sometimes I just decide to go for the straight up veggie/fruit. I do this more with pineapple! But you could put some fat of some sort and/or some seasonings in there too. Or just season them after they come out!

@Seaweed, I use Nutiva coconut oil for cooking all the time. Never thought of using it as a frosting base. Going to try it out and see how it tastes. Thanks for the idea.

@Noctiluca, I am definitely going to do pineapple on the fire. So yummy.
