IF you have allergies and mucus builds up in the nasal passages that run the back of your throat that could be causing the breath. Make sure to floss every day and use mouthwash and gargle it- it breaks up any mucus or anything if you have it. Oh and my husband bought a tongue scraper at earthfare and it has seemed to improve his breath as well.
To figure out if you're in ketosis, either get some sticks to pee on that will tell you, or calculate the amount of carbs you are consuming every day using a nutrient tracking site like fitday.com.
When did you start primal living? I found that my breath was AWFUL for the first couple of weeks, but after that, it seemed to get better without me doing anything.
How the heck do you know you have bad breath unless someone tells you? I've never trusted that lick your hand & smell it method so always just assume I have it & don't talk too close to anyone's face. Paranoid, I guess.
^My boyfriend always tells me =P but I lick and smell my hand too, and it usually smells weird when he claims it smells bad.
I can taste my own bad breath in the morning. It's awful. I drink some coffee and it vanishes.
Make sure you don't use alcohol-based mouthwash. Direct correlation to mouth cancer.
Steak, eggs, potatoes - fruits, nuts, berries and forage. Coconut milk and potent herbs and spices. Tea instead of coffee now and teeny amounts of kelp daily. Let's see how this does! Not really had dairy much, and gut seems better for it.
