Healthcare Company Promoting Get a Closer Parking Spot!

    Shop Now
Ya know, I'm just disgusted by this... I happen to work for a large healthcare organization who supposidly promotes a healthy lifestyle, blah blah blah..... Now I get daily updates as to who's willing to spend money to:
    1. park close and not use their legs in addition to
    2. sit at our desk all damn day staring at the computer screen
WTF happened to logic? Please help me. Ugh.

Working here does not help me feel anymore connected to a primal mentality and one would think this place should be "healthy". I swear I need a different culture. Granted the money goes to support charities, but still...

    ----------
"As in previous years we will be auctioning off preferred parking spaces as part of our Giving Campaign. This year will be slightly different in that we will publish the bids daily to create some competition!

    Building 1
4 parking places available - 2 on the A side and 2 on the B Side

    Building 2
    4 parking places available

    Details:
You will be bidding on a preferred parking place for a 6 month period (Jan-June or July-Dec) You can double your bid for the other 6 month period.

Bids will start at a minimum of $50

If you win the bidding war you must make a one-time contribution for your bid amount to the charity of your choice on the Giving Station. Must be a one-time contribution paid through a ONE-TIME payroll deduction, check or credit card.

Yes, unfortunately at Fortune 50 companies I guess it is. Duh on my part, but regardless it still sickens my brain that now hates most CW.
@ BorkBork - yes I've heard stories from PE teachers that talk about kids that obviously have no clue how to run as they don't bend knees - instead they splay their legs out to the sides. I mean, really? Have they never even see a picture in today's main stream media overload of what a runner looks like?

I think the world is on a sugar binge as if it were crack. Gheez.

Thanks for supporting my sensibilities :-) More proof/validation why MDA is just awesome.
