Perhaps "hate" is too strong a word, but it seems to me that there is a great deal of passionate friction between the paleo and vegan communities. Clearly, there are differences in philosophy and practice, namely one group eats meat and the other does not.
But when you compare what paleo and vegans actually eat on a daily basis, it's actually quite similar. I, for one, eat roughly 75% fruits and vegetables, most of them raw. Maybe I'm oversimplifying, but it seems to me that my diet is *mostly* vegan. Certainly when you compare paleo and vegan to the standard American diet they have more similarities than differences.
So where is the love? Why is there so much bickering between the paleos and vegans?
