How do I eat only twice a day?

    Primal Fuel
I want to start eating only 2 meals a day. I know it's ok in the leptin reset. I usually have three, but honestly I feel better when I don't eat, so want to do it as least as possible whilst still getting all the nutrients I need. I've just been through a rough patch with food intolerance reactions and want to give my digestion a bit of a break.

What two times of the day are best to eat?

    Thx in advance!

You should eat when you're hungry.

On leptin reset you need to eat within 30 minutes of waking, right? So thats mealpoint 1. You also need to eat at least 3 hours or so before going to sleep if I'm correct. 16 hours is the sweetpoint for fasting. And I think leptin resets requires at least 5 hours between meals. So that means you'll have to eat your second meal between 5 and 8 hours after breakfast .

I think you should eat when you are (truly) hungry. My non-preggers self seemed to prefer 2 meals a day - a mid-day-ish meal and evening. Basically, skip breakfast.

    natalia,

You eat a BIG all protein breakfast 1st thing in the morning, and you eat dinner. Lunch is optional IF you are hungry.
    * How big of a breakfast? Big enough so you don't want to snack before or after lunch.
    * Never Ever snack between meals - it messes up your liver
    * Never snack after dinner, same reason
    * If you want to skip lunch, eat an even bigger breakfast.
    * If you are not hungry for supper, your breakfast was too big, scale back.
Dr. Kruse suggests 50 grams of protein for breakfast as a starter. Adjust your breakfast per the above rules.

I no longer eat 50 grams of protein for breakfast, and I skip lunch every day because I am just not hungry for it.

Our two meals a day consist of a high protein "breakfast" at 10:30am and dinner at 6pm. Starting with high protein we are full all day.

Neurologist Dr. Kruse will never agree with this. It is essential to eat breakfast 1st thing in the morning, to preserve the Circadian Rythm in the brain. Dr. Kruse will agree with your dinner by 6:00 PM.

Not everyone in the world needs to eat according to the leptin reset program. True story.

If you're doing Leptin Reset, then your IF will take place between breakfast and dinner (skip lunch). If you're not doing LR, it's easiest to begin fasting right after dinner, skip breakfast, and enjoy lunch.

I do best by skipping breakfast and eating just lunch and dinner. If you find you are super hungry when you wake up, try something else. I am not hungry in the least until around lunch time. If I eat breakfast early, I am hungry all day.
