    Quick ice cream!

    Shop Now
This is so easy, delicious, and customizable.
Get a small ziplock baggie, and pour in 3/4 cup of unsweetened almond milk. From here on out it's whatever you want. I usually add a natural sweetener (stevia) and a tsp of vanilla extract as a base, and then from there change it up. Cinnamon, protein powder, cocoa powder, berries, almond pieces... whatever, and close it up. Now get a gallon ziplock back and fill it about 1/3 full of ice, and around 4tbsp of salt. Put the little almond milk back in the bigger ice back and shake it and massage it around for about 2-3 minutes. Take out the small one and you will find some delish ice cream!

I've seen this recipe using 'normal' milk so I imagine coconut would work as well.

Sounds good. I wonder if this would work with one of those ice cream ball things? (my daughter would have a blast playing with it)

It would, I saw one of those ice cream balls at the "As Seen On TV" store at the mall for 9.99 and bought it on a whim. I just sat on the couch and tossed it from hand to hand while I watched the office and had delicious coconut milk ice cream in 10 minutes.

If you do not have the ice cream ball, Have your kids rotate the ziplock bags between newspapers (it gets pretty cold). The kids love it. Well, my students always have
