    Socks?

Tried doing a search on this but all the results seemed to be pairs with VFFs or other shoe things so figured I'd ask.

I have never liked shoes, all my life, wear the bare minimum out in public for the weather. So today I tried being barefoot while standing at my desk at work... my feet when I came home were absolutely filthy. Not "dirt" (as in Grok in the grass) but "grime" (black!). My workplace environment isn't the cleanest in the world to begin with (offices of an auto-repair/tire seller).

So I was wondering if it was ok to just put on some socks to wear while standing at my desk, or is that too restrictive to my feet?

    Thanks for any advice!

I think your brain should be happy. What others tell you about what to wear on your feed doesn't matter.

I can not STAND (or sit or lie down) for my feet to be dirty. Blech! I wear socks all the time, unless I'm wearing my VFFs. I don't feel like they restrict my feet at all...they're thin cloth.

There are slipper socks and toe socks. Plus, if your feet aren't really large, you could just get larger socks. I wear a size 9 in women's shoes but men's socks feel like I'm wearing nothing on my feet. They're very loose.
