Ha! Love it!
Wow. This is great.
I am sitting at a coffee shoppe and there are two older women sitting next to me. One of them went to her grandson's birthday recently and from the sound of it, her son and daughter-in-law are Primal. The other lady asked her in a condescending way, "I don't suppose they had you bring a cake, did they?"
Primal Grandma says "No, no cake. I brought balloons and flowers. It was so fun. We ate such good food... grilled chicken and vegetables and some fresh blueberries. It was lovely and the birthday boy loved it."
The other lady is just trying to get Primal Granny going... "No ice cream? Not even frozen yogurt? ("No" says Primal Granny, "no dairy") What do the kids eat? Are they malnourished?... I can understand no white bread, but no whole grains? That's crazy! What do they eat?!"
Primal Granny kept her cool and said "they eat a lot of good things... chicken, pork, lamb, vegetables in season from a CSA and they can or freeze for winter, some fruits, a few potatoes... They are all happy and healthy and have lots of energy. Baxter doesn't have any allergies anymore and I really see the merit in it."
Other lady continues to poke and prod....
Primal Granny says, "Oh, they're fine. How are YOUR grandkids?"
Ha! Love it!
