"Congratulations on all the progress. That is fantastic.

Just be aware that your blood work may be a bit premature. If you are losing weight, I wouldn't put much stock in it."

Yes, indeed. My blood work (which was fine by the way - but missing the LDL and LDL types I had asked for) was a bit botched up. I thought I was going to get a blood work request paper but instead I was dragged in and blood drawn immediately (not fasting as I was not expecting this). So some figures might be a bit elevated (compared to normal fasting blood work), sugar was 5.5, a1C was 5.5 also I think.

I guess I will need to get another one around Christmas or so.

Funny, I was mildly disappointed with 1,1kg loss this week

Welcome! I was in Iceland the beginning of August. Stayed at the Hilton - they had a lamb dish that was fantastic. I didn't get a chance to eat the Puffin but the whale was delicious and of course all the cream soups with lobster etc were incredible.

    That's really amazing touchdowntodd!

9 weeks in I'm down 38 pounds (17,3kg), and was only 200 grams from my main goal (100kg) Gonna try another 10-12 pounds before Christmas.
