Vitamin D- The superhero cold kicker

    Primal Fuel
So I recall recently reading that vitamin d helps kick a head cold in the nuts. My 3yo is struggling with projectile bogos right now. What form of vitamin d can I give her and how much? All we have is D3 5000 mg tablets, but I don't know that she can really take those like we can. Suggestions would be great!

I've popped a hole in a D1000 and put in my son's coconut milk when he had signs of illness. Otherwise he get the contents of one cod liver oil in his milk.

Will hit up my local health food stores tomorrow and look for said drops. It did occur to me to grind up a 5k pill super fine and dissolve it in some C-Boost juice, but I wasn't sure how that would affect absorption & what not.

Unfortunately, she & her daddy are very anti-coconut (just hate the taste and smell). I can get her to Barleans omega swirl, but that has 6 & 9 in it, too

My twins, aged 4.5, only very recently started to be able to swallow my capsules of O3, but prior to that they were taking the crappy flavoured kids-version. Mine like CO, but not when its soft and melted. I have to keep it in the fridge now that Australia is getting hot!

I heard vitamin D3 in tablet form isn't absorbed well at all. Liquid is the way to go.
You lousy kids! Get off my savannah!

I can't speak of the quality and it's probably not the best form, but I give my kids Jarrow D3 gummies. I figure it might be better than nothing.
