I miss baking. I was a taking cake decorating classes right before I went paleo/primal, and I was a DAMN good baker. I made caramel from scratch. Now I only bake once a month, to take a cake to the monthly team meeting, and I feel like a crack pusher. XD But darnit, it's the only time I can bake!

My friends no longer complain that I "never eat anything".

I have no real excuse to lock myself in the house for the 2 days before my period anymore.

You gave me a good giggle! Thanks...and yeah, I'm past the period thing, but my mood swings are a lot better. I used to get kind of wacko when the carbs wore off...

I read somewhere that the average American throws away 4.5 lb of stuff per day. I started thinking about it and realized Geek and I throw out around 20 lb of stuff as a family of 2+ the dog per week (1 trashbag of stuff.) That includes plastic water bottles and jugs because we're bad about remembering to fill up the reusable containers. If we cut those out, it's probably closer to 15 lb per week. After I realized that, my next thought was "How on EARTH does 1 person throw away 4.5 lb of crap per day?" It took several minutes of thinking before I remembered that not everyone is primal/ paleo.

Boyfriend and I use one kitchen-sized trash bag per week, even when we go grocery shopping (so there'd be extra trash from the meat packaging) or empty the cat litter box. I don't know how much that comes out to in poundage.

Y'all are probably in the same ballpark as us, 'cause that how much we have, volumetrically.
