Cheeseburger Bacon Roll (droolworthy pic inside)

    Cheeseburger Bacon Roll
Recipe by Healthy Living How To

    Printable Recipe (visit my site)

    Prep Time: 15 minutes
    Cook Time: 50-60 minutes
    Serves: 4-6

    Ingredients
    • 12 Slices Uncured Organic Bacon (Nitrite/Nitrate Free)
    • 1 1/2 - 2lbs. Grass Fed Ground Beef
    • 6 oz. Organic Cheddar Cheese (sliced or shredded, although shredded is best)
    • 2 Tbsp. Penzey's Italian Sausage Seasoning (can sub with any favorite burger seasoning)

    Cooking Directions

    1. Follow the pictorial above (found on site) and make a 6x6 bacon weave.
    2. In a bowl, mix up ground beef with 2 Tbsp. Italian sausage seasoning.
    3. Make one large patty, the size of the bacon weave.
    4. Cover the patty with cheese (shredded cheese works best) and then roll into a log.
    5. Set the cheeseburger roll on the bacon weave at a diagonol and roll.
    6. Line jelly roll pan with foil and set a baking rack in the pan. Place cheeseburger roll on rack.
    7. Bake at 400F for 50-60 minutes or until internal temp is 165F.
    8. Remove from oven and let cool for 10 minutes then slice into 1 1/2-2 inch slices.
    9. Serve with a side of veggies and enjoy!

I have the makings for this, but I think my boyfriend will complain about having a heart attack if I make it (and I just KNOW it'll come out too dry).

    My concerns
-how cooked will the bacon be? You don't cook it beforehand, right?
-Should you flip it so the under-side bacon gets cooked thoroughly too?
-And because I'm a veggie-newb, what kind of veggies would you pair with this?

    Mother of god.

You could probably do it the way epic meal time would, by cooking the meat first, wraping a bacon weave around the damned thing, and finishing it off that way.

Then stuff it in a turkey.

    Garnish it with baconators.

Edit: I might lose the cheese cause I'm eating paleo with primal lifestyle, This is still a completely acceptable way to make any man fall in love.

Who says money can't buy happiness? I bought a bacon weave.

+5million points for referencing epic meal time. They are SO CLOSE to just being amazing ZC eaters...but then they make the candy episodes and use bread and drink beer... Muscles Glasses is a personal trainer!

Holy shit, what would he be like as a trainer?

    Sounds win.

Though I think someone needs to make a PrimalMealTime.

    Perfect primal mealtime recipe:

5 Cheeseburger Bacon Rolls in a large baking pumpkin
