I cooked some delicious apples today and put them on top of some grilled chicken.

1 green apple, chopped into cubes

    1 TBSP butter

1 TBSP coconut butter (Artisana Raw Organic Coconut Butter)

    Cinnamon

Heat butter and coconut butter in pan. Chop the apple into cubes. Toss apple into butter & coconut butter. Sprinkle in desired cinnamon. Cook until tender.

That sounds delicious. Anyone has any experience frying other fruits?

You can do pears same way as you would apples.

And peaches and pineapple are great on the grill with butter (You get less fat that way than frying, but they're still yummy and surely grokworthy in moderation).

    oh goodness, yum.

What is coconut butter? Is it different from coconut oil?

Yes, coconut butter is different than coconut oil. Artisana Raw Organic Coconut Butter is what I use. I discovered it about 2 weeks ago and it's awesomely delicious and nutritious. A wonderful fat to use in all kinds of recipes.
