Ran my first race in Vs. GOOD GUTS! I AM A MONSTER IN THESE THINGS! Ran 1.25 miles straight (never did that before IN MY LIFE), did a little walking, but ran the bulk of the 6k race. Set a new PR: 58.43, taking at least 5 mins off from last year!
I feel incredible. Bam, boom, over the moon!
I am going to own next Saturday's 5k!

So excited. Just wanted to share with my primal friends.

Victory roar! I'm a little bulkier than usual cuz I was wearing a heavy shirt underneath my racing shirt. It was FA-REEZING (and wet)

The lady who took my chip off was giggling when I crossed the line. I'm not a fast runner, by any means, but I am strong, and a good little sprinter to boot. My friend (who also ran the race) was standing at the line waiting for me, but I guess I ran by so fast she didn't see, lol. It happened to my mom & husband at my last race too. I even WAVED to them. I am invisible when I sprint. ZOOM!

You're a badass!!! I love my Vibram FF shoes. My buddy and I are doing five miles in our VFFs tomorrow in an effort to get ready for the Walt Disney 1/2 Marathon in January. I'm down to 286! Wish me luck!

In an abstract way, it kinda is. The race I ran today is the largest women-only race in the state. No boys allowed :P
