    What's up with Lentils?

Technically, lentils are pulses, or seeds. Why do they get lumped in with legumes? Why are they not considered a "primal food?"

    Just curious.

Pulses are legumes--the word pulse simply refers to the group of legumes that are harvested for the dried seeds. All pulses are seeds, but not all seeds are pulses.
