    I decided to stop benching and just focus on the push ups and come back to the bench after. So it's settled.

    I wouldn't. Most people already do too many pushing exercises and not enough pulling, which leads to muscular imbalances and shoulder problems later on.

    That's a good point. I think I do too much pushing.

    More pull-ups, I need, what else? Rifle off some pulling exercises.

    Generic "it depends". If you're benching very heavy, as in singles of around 95% of your 1RM, then I'd still rock them. Most people don't, in which case putting it off would likely be your best bet.
