    Is it possible to get to many Omega 3's in your system and what would the consequence be. Say your eating only grass fed high omega 3 beef and other natural sources, and you were also taking fish oil daily. Is it possible to overdo it? What would happen ?

    insufficient blood clotting.

    I've sometimes noticed that when on higher doses of O3 I bleed a lot more than usual (I have a bad habit of biting my lip - once ended up covered in blood without realising!). So yes, as kuno1chi said, you'll know!

    Omega 3 also drains vitamin E. If you raise the 3 you up the E.

    I just recently read somewhere that overdosing on omega 3s can cause borderline liver damage.


    See if I can look it up again.


    I believe Dr. Harris over on PaNu recently stated that if you are not eating pastured dairy/beef or use alot of seed oils, that he would recommend just 1gram of Fish Oil (DHA/EHA) a day.
